EASTSIDE BIKE CLUB RIDES START AT CHARO (East Parking Driveway) http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF-8&hl=en&tab=wl or type in eastside bike club on google maps Several members from the EASTSIDE BIKE CLUB participated in 1st Annual Pasadena Marathon & 26 Mile Bike Tour on Sunday, March 22nd. It was an experience to ride in a rain storm! Everyone in the group made it except for me. I had a crash on mile 4 and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The good news is that I am recovering from bruised ribs and my bruised ego….. Thank god nothing worst. Thanks to all for your text messages, emails and phone calls. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: All rides are free unless we are participating in a special ride, the rides are leisurely-paced, community and socially oriented, all abilities are welcomed and we are family friendly. What to Bring: A bicycle in good running order helmets and lights if you are riding in our night rides. All participants under 18 must wear a helmet and be escorted by a parent or guardian. Children under age 9 should be on a tag-a-long, bike trailer, tandem, or other safe child-carrying device. Bring plenty of water and a snack too.
