Subject: EASTSIDE BIKE CLUB RIDES

Hello Cyclistas:

We invite you to join us on this SATURDAY for a Special Ride

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21st 10am
EASTSIDE BIKE CLUB Rides to the ROSE BOWL to see the worlds best Pro Cyclist as they compete in
Amgen’s “TOUR OF CALIFORNIA ” PROFEESIONAL ROAD RACE.

The Tour of California is this nation’s premier road race.  This pro race started last week in Northern CA and each day, every leg of the race is approximately 100 miles.  This race will encompass over 750 miles thru the state of “ CALI ”.

At the Rose Bowl there is a Lifestyle Festival.  Plan on spending the day at the Rose Bowl to see exhibits, listen to music and enjoy a beautiful CA Day!  The festival will feature a health & fitness expo, cancer awareness education, cycling gear, family activities, bike safety, food, entertainment and more! (The company of EASTSIDE BIKE CLUB MEMBERS!)
There will be plenty to see and do for everyone in your family!  You can even get your BMI (Body Mass Index) for free!

The Lifestyle Festival creates a giant, festive atmosphere for PRE and POST-race entertainment and hospitality with the general public.

We plan on spending around 6 -8 hours on this trip – We encourage the riders to pack a lunch for a picnic – There will also be food booths as well.  There is also FREE VALET BIKE PARKING AVAILABLE at the festival.  However we still encourage our riders to bring a Lock and Chain – Just in case.  We are anticipating record crowds.
The racers are anticipated to arrive at the Rose Bowl between 2:30 and 3:15pm

Be prepared to have a great time with some great people.  IF YOU MISS ANY OF OUR RIDES - You Do Not Want To Miss This Ride ! ! !   GET A BABY SITTER, CANCEL YOUR SPA APPOINTMENTS, TAKE THE TRIP TO BIG BEAR NEXT WEEK, CALL IN SICK, HAVE YOUR OPERATION NEXT WEEK!  IN OTHER WORDS -
YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS RIDE ! ! !

THE RIDE and THE FESTIVAL are FREE!! (Eastside Stimulus package - Just thru that in; it sounds good :) ha ha haaaaa)
