Complaint about Ballona chainlink gates   Message List

So, I rode along Ballona Creek today, and had to hop a gate
at probably-Duquesne, because some fat-butt didn't get out there
and open it before 2PM on a completely sunny rain-free Monday.
(It must be nice to work for the city and not give a damn.)

How do I find out which agency is responsible for that gate so I can
complain? This is probably four times this has happened to me.

I'd like to know the agency in charge, too - more so that I know whom we contact about cleaning up the path after storms, and, longer term, getting some lights...

The last contact I have for getting maintance done on the SGR trail is afuentes@.... I believe all the LA county bike trails are maintained by the LA...

I think you are referring to the gates West of Overland Blvd in Culver City. I think they installed them to herd the kids that use the pedestrian bridge there....
