I saw the Firestone and Garfield construction sites today. What I did
to get around was to exit at Firestone and go west to Garfield south. I
rode Garfield down to Imperial then turned right and rode west back to
the LA river. Only problem I had was that the open gate is on the
south side of Imperial.
