NORBA races this weekend:

Plainview, TX on Sunday  "Flat as Hale"  Site of City landfill converted to
multi-use trails.  I think it's Hale County, hence the name.  It is flat out
there.  Registration at noon, racing at two.

Palo Duro Canyon (southeast of Amarillo) on Monday.  This is a great place
to ride, great trails, scenery, etc. Registration @ 7:30am, racing @ 9:30am.

your age group. And who knows, I might be secretly training. The kidlets
are getting older and the dust and the rust might be coming off my
million dollar bicycle inventory though the last time I looked I don't
think the carbon fiber had any rust.  Don't be trash talking my wool!
It paid its dues and won more races than my would be mythical adversary
has even sniffed. I secretly look forward to breaking bread with you...

That's great to hear....... You must know I'm from the great state of
TENNESSEE.  We like it rough!!!!   It's "rocky at the top" Baby!!!
Although I'm having to juggle my time with my 9 & 7 yr olds; I welcome the
invitation to ride with you.  If your opening school, I'm getting in
line..........The day I stop trying is the day they lay me down!  That's

Hey Guys,
     So does anyone still ride road bikes after all those spectacular HHH
finishes SJRC had?

     Karen, myself and a couple of others are coming over to go up Scott 2-3
times.  We are going to Red River, NM this week to ride the Enchanted Circle
Tour.  So we figured it wouldn't hurt to do at least a hill climb or two, and
of course everthing in Texas is flat so we have to drive to Oklahoma.

     Anyway we are leaving Wichita Falls about 9 am (this is an about).  We
will start from the park at the base of Mt. Scott.  If anyone wants come join
us.

     Are any of the SJRC's going to Red River, NM, I remember someone
mentioning it, but don't recall if anyone said that they were going.  There
is a Mtn Bike race on Saturday, as well as the Bobcat Pass road hill climb,
and then the 100 mile tour on Sunday.   <A

It was great but I took it easy and rode slow.   We took out the TT bikes for a
spin.  I wound it out from Deyo Mission to Cache with a split time of 10:10.   I
had a great tail wind.  And boy it was fun...
