Hello Everyone,

Don't forget that next weekend July 18th and 19th the DICE Cycling Team will
be hosting the ABR Illinois State Road Race Championships using the
Mississippi Bluffs course in Port Byron, IL and then the Dr Craig C Schultz
Memorial 40K Time Trial Championships - formerly know as the QCBC/DICE 40K
TT Championships in Cordova, IL. The flyers, race info and directions can
be found at www.DiceTraining.com <http://www.dicetraining.com/> and
www.DICECycling.com <http://www.dicecycling.com/> . The RR starts at 11am
and the long race is 50K so you still will have legs for Sunday's 9am start
for the 40K TT. On-line registration is also available at
www.GetMeRegistered.com <http://www.getmeregistered.com/> . There are also
volunteer opportunities, and if you bring one or volunteer yourself, I will
refund your entry fees. Call me to discuss!

Construction in the Midwest has hampered easy travel to some areas and these
two races are no exception! Interstate 80 over the Mississippi River
between IL/IA is closed east bound and is only open one lane west bound. If
coming from IA you will need to come over I-74 and follow the river up. If
you are coming west from the outside of the east of the Quad Cities - like
coming from Chicago, you will have to use I-88 to get to each of these
races, as the I-80 off ramp to the Illinois side of the Mississippi River,
from IL is also closed. There will be maps and directions on the websites
soon!

Now last, Mediacom has been having issues and my phone and internet/e-mail
has been intermittent at best! If you need anything answered, please call
my cell phone at 309-737-8270, as Mediacom will not be repairing my
technical issues until after the races. Lucky me I can take my laptop to a
Wi-Fi spot, but that will not be everyday! Sorry for the inconvenience!!
