Description
BikeHike-ON serves the Golden Horseshoe of South Central Ontario. It comprises [1] the MondayRiders, founded some 24 years ago - who bike April thru November following a pre-set annual Schedule; [2] the ThursdayOrbiters, now in their 15th year, who, on Thursday mornings, year-round, cycle the varied, quiet, scenic country lanes and trails within a 12½ km radius of Alberton ON (home of ASAC - Ancaster Senior Achievement Centre). Note: Winter months' cycling criteria are: temperature and/or windchill above +0ºC (32°F); roads are clear of snow/ice/slush; no evident precipitation; plus, "The spirit moves you."
