Bruce,
Thanks for the clarification...you are right, i am remembering a match i saw 2 years ago, not last year...that is actually good news for Minn, but your point is well-taken, passing and floor defense will take some new/modified integration to match the high quality they had last season. So I still believe they will be hard-pressed to match their 17 conference wins, that is a very high bar to jump over with Bowman, Cumpston and Peniata gone. But if anyone can integrate new players into a system, Mike Hebert can.

A minor correction: Kelly Bowman played opposite last season. She had been one of the setters in a 6-2 the year before, but Rachel Hartmann set a 5-1 almost exclusively. Hartmann is a junior this year, and little is expected to change in the setting position.* OSU and Minnesota graduated excellent setters and their challenge will be integration; 13 and 17 wins from last year (respectively) may be difficult to match
Where Minnesota will see a major change is in passing and floor defense: Bowman (opposite), Meghan Cumpston (left side) and Malama Peniata (libero) graduated, leaving Christine Tan as the only primary passer/digger from last year.
