I got it. Only in California would a 6' 11" guy choose to play VB rather than BB. CA has more good players than the rest of the country combined. Just look at the rankings. They really should expand the playoffs to allow more highly ranked teams to compete. I can understand the NCAAs philosophy of trying to promote Men's VB in the eastern half of the US. Without an automatic bid to the final four, most eastern teams would fold the tent. Its amazing how competetive the eastern teams are at lower Division classifications. I think Juniata has a couple championships to their name.
