Hi, Big Cranks.

We are ready to get out there and raise some money for Doorways by feeding people's caffeine addictions!  So here are the details:

1.  Print out the Big Crank Blend order form found in the files section of the yahoo group.  Note:  you can do this electronically and keep track of this on your computer if you have the savvy for that.  However, the data we need and the deadlines are the same.

2.  Start selling.  For each sale, we need:

The number of units sold.

The complete mailing address of each person.  We won't use this to generate junk mail.  Its just a way to track them down and get their coffee to them.  Don't rely on your memory, please.

Cash or check for $8 per bag of coffee.  Checks need to be made out to Hartford Coffee Company. 

Because we don't get the coffee until its paid for, we have to insist that coffee be paid for before we submit your order.  Think Girl Scouts, Girl Scouts, Girl Souts. 

3.  First order deadline is April 6th. 

You can email us the order and turn in your money at the Crankshop on April 11 or mail it to us. 

We will be submitting all paid orders to Hartford on April 14.

First order will be ready to distribute by Wednesday, April 18. 

4.  After this first order, we expect to place an order with Hartford on a 2 week cycle, so this Girl Scout cookie sale never ends.  (Imagine being able to walk down the street to your local Girl Scout and order Thin Mints all year long!!!)

5.  Finally, arrangements outside of this process can be made with Don Griffith.  If you have a particularly huge order and want to fill it early, for example.  Or if you want to just buy a bunch of units and sell them at your church or office.  Please make those arrangements with Don.  His email address is on the order form. 

Finally, if you don't think you can sell any, but just want some for yourself, you can buy Big Crank Blend at Hartford Coffee Company or Big Shark Bicycle Company beginning mid-week next week.  Same price everywhere, same benefit to Doorways. 

Get out those sashes and sell those cookies, Cranks!  Ride bikes, sell coffee, save the world!

PS:  Big Crank realizes no benefits from the sale of this coffee.  It fits into the same category as the funds we raise on the Tour de Cure or MS 150.  Think of each bag you sell as a mile on a fundraising century ride.  Only imagine your riding a cute little pink bike with handle bar streamers wearing a Girl Scout uniform.  :)
