Rides this weekend....   Message List

Hey, all.

For those of us who can't get to Columbia for the MS150 this
weekend, there are two ride opportunities I want to let you know
about.

First, I will again be joining Big Shark for their Saturday morning
ride. This is a great ride that leaves from Big Shark's parking
lot, loops out through Creve Couer and Ladue, comes back through
Clayton and U City. Its about 35 miles. That ride isn't exactly a
training ride, but it does manage a fairly decent clip. Double pace
line. We leave at 7:30 and are back by 9:30 or ten. There's one
brief rest stop at the top of a hill. I'd rate this as a ride for
intermediate road cyclists.

I'll be there. I'd love to have you join me. The details, in
bullet form. :)

* Big Shark Group Ride

* Tomorrow (Saturday) morning.
Gather at 7:15, depart at 7:30.

* Ride starts at the Big Shark parking lot. Big Shark is on Delmar
in the U City Loop, right next door to the Pageant.

Second, remember that the Tour de Wildwood is on Sunday. Bill
Moench and I rode this course a couple of weeks ago and its a great
ride. Absolutely beautiful. Very, very hilly, but it hurt so
good! If you're looking for a ride on Sunday, I would recommend
this one highly. I'd also rate this as a ride for intermediate road
cyclists. I won't be at that ride, having work responsibilities on
Sunday mornings, but I wanted to remind you that this great Trailnet
ride was a possibility. For details, visit the www.trailnet.org and
click on "rides and events".

Hope to see some of you tomorrow morning! Otherwise, have a great
weekend.

Peace,

Jay Hulsey
