| Notes: | Yep - we are at it again. This is a fun, easy ride. We'll ride the MCT Nature and Nickel Plate trails. The route is 22 miles, mostly flat, and with shade, wildlife, and less traffic than most trails. There are several restrooms along the route, but little water so bring an extra bottle. We'll meet at Horseshoe Lake State Park. Head east on I70 to IL 111 and go north. Turn left into the park at Horseshoe Lake road and take the second right and follow that road all the way to the parking area with the boat launch (basically follow the signs to the boat launch and follow until the road ends). We'll depart at 8:00am sharp ( pedal fast to catch up if you are late) - so please come early for tire pumpin', helmet donnin', hob nobbin', and carryin' on. Ride leader: Claire (314-324-9722) | |
