So maybe you could use a little extra motivation to exercise today with the rain, sleet and such? Does having a goal help you stay on track? Do you have someone in your life who suffers from diabetes and would like to help? Would you like to introduce a friend to cycling or to Big Crank? Do you just love riding - especially with the beauteous Big Cranks and want to enjoy a great day of riding for a good cause? Any of these would be a great reason to sign up for our Tour de Cure team this week.
The ride is June 6th. There is a perfect distance for any rider with 16, 30, 50 or 100 mile routes, free passes to Raging Rivers, amazing views of the Mississippi, super rest stops every 7-10 miles, adorable Big Crank team mates and a great cause. Copy and paste this link (http://main.diabetes.org/site/TR?pg=team&fr_id=5609&team_id=342528) to get to our team page or visit www.tour.diabetes.org and wend your way to the Big Crank Cycling Team.
We have six early bird team members all ready and encourage every person to find one friend to ride & raise with us - that will make our goal much easier to achieve. Big Crank has been in the TOP 5 teams the last two years and each and every person who joins makes a BIG CRANK difference.
If you are even thinking about the team - check it out this week. If you register now you have two months to raise the minimum $150 and the basic registration fee is only $15! After April 30th it goes up to $25. Do, no procrastinating now - get up, get busy, and let's have our largest showing yet in 2009.
