This is the homepage for Big Crank Cycling, St. Louis' premiere GLBT cycling club.

We are a group of cycling enthusiasts of varying backgrounds, skill levels and interests. From recreational cyclists to road racers, to folks thinking about getting involved to people whose lives have been changed by the sport, there is something here for everyone with a bicycle.

Our mission is to:

Go fast, ride well and live strong.
Enhance our members' participation in cycling.
Promote cycling in St. Louis.
Promote cycling within the gay and lesbian community and to increase GLBT participation in mainstream cycling.

Participation in a full calendar of events;custom club uniforms and apparel at cost; club discounts on massage therapy, products at Big Shark Bicycle Company and Hartford Coffee Company; classes on cool cycling topics, like... "How do I fix a flat?" or "The do’s and don’ts of team riding"; and much more!

To join the club, join this yahoo group by clicking the "join" button and check out membership info and our membership form in the "FILES" folder. Becoming a member is as easy as printing out the membership form and mailing it in with your dues or bringing them along on a ride and giving it to an officer. Once a member, you will be eligible for all the benefits described above.

You don't have to be a club member to ride with us, though. If you just want to ride, join this yahoo group and check out our calendar, find a ride or event that looks like fun and come on out and join us. (All of our rides require helmets. Most of the social events do not.)
