any idea what the problem with the holleys was - i was thinking of
either using holleys or rochesters.
what do you think was causing the roughness? just the port match?
here's what i was thinking i'd do for my set up: a rectangular box
under the carbs. run either square or probably circular turbes to the
heads. i was thinking i'd do my best to match the areas of the tubes
and the head ports, then pound the tubes under heat to the right shape
at the end before i welded the flanges to them. i don't know - sounds
great in theory, but you're the only person i know who's ever worked
with it. let me know what you think. worth the trouble? i think it
would help some with air flow and definitely fuel distribution under
boost.
thanks, jon
