I'm about to get three 500s for free(ha, beat that for a good deal! :-
D ) Problem is, none of em have a tranny. I want to use an auto,
since I won't have to mess with mix-n-matching flywheels, clutches
and trannys. The real problem for me is, I don't know what tranny(s)
I can use. And I need it to be a RWD tranny, since this is all going
in a 76 Dodge D350 dually - my tow rig

I'm prepared to get the parts needed for a manual tranny, but I'm not
sure what hydraulic setup I'd need. The guy I'm getting the engines
from says he has a good chance of getting me an SM420 for 100 bucks,
but that leaves a flywheel, clutch, and hydraulic system. The
bellhousing is also something he's going to give me, since he says he
has plenty

If anyone can help me out, not only would I greatly appreciate it,
but I'll be taking pictures, and write a tech article on how the swap
went.

This is so cool, I've been wanting a 500 for YEARS!
