I was born and raised in St. Louis. I moved to Colorado when I was in
my mid-30s. I revisited the St. Louis area recently, and I rode a
folding bicycle for the entire 3 weeks. I was carrying the bike on and
off the Light Rail and buses. Overall, I thought drivers were fairly
courteous. The cycling facilities weren't great. There were very few
bike racks, and most roads do NOT have bike lanes, although I did ride
the Broadway bike lane quite a lot. I did take the opportunity to ride
the new trail across the Page Bridge over the Missouri River, in the
dedicated bicycle lane. That was cool. I then rode for a while on the
conncecting Katy trail. Overall, it was a nice experience. Keep up
the good work!
