BIG Members,

It was brought to my attention by an keen-eyed member of the Association
of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals that the new transportation bill
(aka SAFETEA-LU) provides approximately $3.5 BILLION for bicycle and
pedestrian projects nationwide, not $3.5 million, as the Yahoo News
article erroneously states. That makes quite a difference!
