Good afternoon everyone,

SAFE Guilford will be participating in the Annual Public Safety Day event (1512 N. Church Street, Greensboro) on Saturday, October 7.  The event is scheduled from 11 - 3 PM, and at our last meeting, the Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Action Group decided that we would fit bicycle helmets from 11 - 2 PM.  We will be fitting helmets for children between the ages of 2-14; however we do not have adult-sized helmets should our largest helmets not fit the older children. 

Thank you to everyone who has signed up to help.  Currently, we have nine volunteers total, and some will be working in shifts.  Thank you to Becky Windsor for recruiting employees from Moses Cone Health System's Inpatient Rehabilitation Department and to Jesse Day for recruiting from Bicycling in Greensboro (BIG)!

I look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday!
