Sometimes the most effective and efficient way to gain a policymaker's attention is to simply show them the benefits your bicycle-friendly policies bring to your community.  Whether you attended the National Bike Summit or not, working with your legislators while they are in their home districts will help keep bicycling issues on the policy radar screen.  In this webinar we'll look at the best ways to promote pro-peddling policies from the safety of your own neighborhood.  We'll look at options for putting together site visits, attending townhall meetings and coordinating community sessions.  We'll also discuss strategies for actually getting elected officials on board and excited about your work.
