The
6th Annual Urban Design Conference, Healthy City > Healthy People:
Design Solutions, will provide case studies and strategies for design
and planning of urban environments that enhance the health and well-being of
their citizens. Presenters will address specific issues of transportation
choices, open space, mixed-use development, promotion of physical activity and
social opportunities, initiatives that reduce human impact on the environment
and spur progressive economic development, and planning processes which promote
a healthy built environment.
