The Greensboro Velo Club's 12th Annual POLAR BEAR RIDE!
Thursday January 1st. Register at 11 AM, all riders off at Noon!
This popular event has been, on certain years, the biggest ride of the year inside Greensboro city limits, as many as 400 riders! It's definitely a Don't-Miss ride!
Right now the outlook is for SUNNY weather and a warming trend, so start planning now to join us for the fun. The distances are under 20 miles, about 40 miles or 60 miles! Food drink, maps and camaraderie!
Bring in the New Year with all your friends and other cycling enthusiasts. Everyone is welcome!
Entry is $10 and 2 cans of food to go to a local shelter. Join (or rejoin) the Greensboro Velo Club for 2009 that day and get $5 off!
