Subject: Do you remember your first bike?

Dear Friends:

CycleSafe.org is partnering with the Piedmont Flyers Bicycle Club to
raise enough money to donate 50 brand new bicycles and helmets for
children in our local communities. Please read the following letter
from Tony Cottrell, President of the Piedmont Flyers Bicycle Club, and
consider making a donation today!

Remember, donations are tax deductible and the internal reward speaks
for itself! Please forward this on to your friends, family and
colleagues.

Together we can make a difference!

Can you remember how excited you were when you received your first
bicycle? Did you smile so much that it made your face sore? I remember
my first bicycle vividly. It was black with gold wheels and a big "8"
on the handlebars. Once I learned to use the coaster brake, there were
skid marks all over the driveway!

Each Christmas, the Piedmont Flyers Bicycle Club partners with Clemmons
Bicycle, Cycletherapy, Ken's Bike Shop, Paceline Bicycles, and Mock
Orange Bikes to bring smiles to kids in Forsyth, Yadkin, Davidson, and
Stokes Counties. Through our Club's proceeds from membership dues, our
annual Lewisville Yadkin River Metric Century, and the generous
donations of our members and friends, we purchase bike shop quality
bicycles at dealer cost and donate new bicycles along with helmets to
the WXII 12 Toy Drive in conjunction with the Salvation Army.

We are planning on donating 50 brand new bicycles and

helmets this year through our Bikes For Kids program.

This year, we are partnering with CycleSafe.org. They will be providing
helmets for a minimal fee, and your contributions to the Bikes For Kids
program are tax deductible.

The Piedmont Flyers have enough funding to donate approximately 25
bicycles through our regular activities. We are asking for your help in
sponsoring or helping to sponsor one of the remaining 25 bicycles. As a
bonus, your PFBC membership dues will be waived for 2009 by sponsoring a
bicycle.

* each tricycle and helmet is $ 88

* each 12" bicycle and helmet is $112

* each 16" bicycle and helmet is $140

* each 20" bicycle and helmet is $165

If you wish to join us in bringing smiles to kids in the Triad this
Christmas, please send a check payable to CycleSafe.org by December 13th
to:

Piedmont Flyers Bicycle Club, P.O. Box 5032, Winston Salem, NC 27113

Please, come and join us on the air Wednesday, December 17th at 5:00pm
WXII 12 at 700 Coliseum Road in Winston Salem as we present the bicycles
to the WXII 12 Toy Drive.

Sincerely,

Tony Cottrell
