Hi everyone,

 

I'm trying to plan a used bicycle drive in Greensboro for Bikes for the World (www.bikesfortheworld.org.) It's a non-profit in the D.C. area that collects used bicycles and ships them to developing countries, where they go to people who need basic transportation to work, school, etc. We've held two successful drives in Winston-Salem, but we know their have got to be used bicycles in Greensboro that could be put to good use.

 

I could really use networking help and suggestions on the best place to hold the collection, which would run for about three hours one day in November. Then the bikes would be picked up by a BFTW volunteer. Ultimately, we'd also love to find about eight volunteers in Greensboro who could help compact the bikes for shipping on the day of the event.

 

I'm open to all ideas! Thanks for your time.
