March 2nd NC Alternative Transportation Summitt   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #1015 of 1529 |
Dear Bicycling in Greensboro,
Please pass along to your friends and colleagues from around North Carolina

The formation of a statewide bicycle, pedestrian and "other things
non-motorized" advocacy organization will take place on March 2nd from 11am-3pm
at UNC Greensboro's Elliot Center during an alternative transportation summit.
An ad-hoc group has been meeting for a year gathering input, forming
initiatives, strategizing, creating bylaws and seeking board members. It is now
time to make the organization official by electing a board of directors.

If you have a keen interest in bicycling issues locally that need to be
addressed at the state level, this meeting is for you.

Check www.bikegso.org for more information on how to register for the event,
directions to UNCG and other information - or go directly to the following link
for registration http://www.eventbrite.com/event/95982085. Lunch will be
provided for $8 and a bicycle ride/roller blade/or other form of rolling will
take place after the summit.
