Thought you all might be interested in knowing UNCG is conducting this
survey to inform their plans.
Dear Faculty, Staff and Students:
The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is currently
developing a Campus Bicycle Master Plan to improve the campus
bicycling environment and provide additional bicycle parking
facilities to cyclists. We would like input from both cyclists and
non-cyclists.
To help us meet these goals and complete a comprehensive study, we
would like to receive your feedback on the current and desired
cycling conditions at UNCG. We have created the UNCG Bicycle Master
Plan survey for you to tell us where you would like to see new /
improved bicycle parking and other campus bike facilities. This
survey should only take 4-5 minutes to complete, and will help the
University improve biking conditions for everyone.

The goals of the UNCG Campus Bicycle Master Plan are:
(1) To maintain aesthetic appeal of the University campus, while
providing additional bike parking for cyclists;
(2) To promote biking to/from/around campus;
(3) To avoid conflicts between bicyclists and pedestrians;
(4) To establish bike parking guidelines for new construction and
recommendations for bike parking retrofits at existing
buildings;
(5) To develop aesthetics, use, density, and building-specific bike
parking standards to expand on the broad recommendations
in the Transportation Master Plan.
Thank you for your input and participation. For more information on
the UNCG Campus Bicycle Master Plan, please visit
