Why Veteran's Day? Veteran's Day was chosen to honor all of the
veterans of the Past,
Present and Future. It was also picked because too many of those
going hungry are
veterans and their families. Jerry himself is a Viet-Nam era Veteran
having served in the
Navy on the USS Jesse L. Brown DE 1089. Jerry also served in the
Army National Guard
in Ohio, Texas, Kansas and Georgia. Today "sergeant" Goodwin is
proud to be a member
of American Legion " Veterans Still Serving America"
Volunteers are needed to assist with virtually every part of the
ride and food collection.
Other bicycle riders are encouraged to ride along all or any part of
the ride. All donations
are Tax-Deductible.
