Hello, my name is Katrina Pollack and I work for a national nonprofit
organization called Earth Force which works to motivate middle school
youth to make a difference in their communities and in their natural
environment. Right now we are waging a national campaign to make
communities more bicycle-friendly. We are encouraging middle school
youth to participate in the Bike-A-Mile Challenge which is simply to
organize kids to ride their bikes to school! We hope that they will
learn how easy it is to travel around their community by bicycle and in
the process reduce pollution, save energy, prevent traffic congestion,
and promote youth leadership and environmental awareness. I was
wondering if anyone on this list serv could take a few minutes to give
any suggestions on how to make more kids and teachers aware of this
campaign. I would greatly appreciate your comments.
