Twisted minds think alike. This notion crosed my mind years ago, but
I never tried it. The positives which I see:

low cost;
bright light;
looking like something that isn't "just a bicycle."

Here are the negatives:

secure mounting will be a challenge;
it's glass;
the filament might not survive the pounding unless your bike is
suspended.
