I used to have a yellow rain-slicker by Stearns, meant for foul
weather.
pro: it kept the rain out, roomy, relatively inexpensive
con: It didn't breathe, and after six years it started to lose
integrity.

Now I use a Marmot by REI. Green.
pro: keeps the rain out, has vents to breathe, roomy!
con: More costly, not reflective (that's why I have many lights)

I like the Marmot.

... Yeah, staying dry under rain gear is tough, if the rain don't get ya the perspiration will. The best I can hope for is to stay warm and to dry off...
