Hydration could be an issue. You certainly need to stay hydrated while riding
and headache
is a symptom of lack thereof. If water bottle is too much trouble try a hose
type hydration
pack. Meaux

The only thing I can think of is her helmet may be too tight. When blood starts to flow at a higher rate a tight helmet can be the culprit to constricted...
