Hi all, hows your winter been? I see we are at the top here....the no 1
biathlon group on yahoo...how cool is that' I have been ski-n pretty
consistantly at least 1 day a week up here in AK on some pretty good
groomed trails here at the Salcha and Birch hill trails at Fairbanks.
Although we did have a cold snap just after the 1st, -it was to cold to
ski at -40 to -50F everyday for almost 2 weeks. Now its good here again
at 20F with some new snow to. I raced in the #3 Biathlon race down in
Anchorage last sunday on the new Biathlon Range at Kincaid Park. It was
actualy a bit to cold for the race but everyone seemed to finish. The
race was a super-sprint followed immediatly by a pursuit, back to back.
So...a total of 6 trips into the range made for an awesome shooters
practice race.
How about the coverage on eurosport.com ...-thats some good stuf. To
bad we cant see more on our own networks...insteed of poker, lol.
take care'
