Happy New Year Skiers!

It has been snowing in West Yellowstone for three weeks straight.  We have
plenty of snow on the ground and the Rendezvous Ski Trails are in great shape. 
The skiing is awesome, the trail pass is cheap, who could ask for anything
more!  

I am writing to give you all a heads up.  Due to lack of snow early in the
season, the West Yellowstone Ski Education Foundation has had to change up our
January schedule.  We will be hosting the 2009 Altius Handcrafted Firearms
Biathlon on the Rendezvous Ski Trails on January 10th and 11th.  I have attached
an invitation with all the details and a registration form for you.  We are
looking for volunteers to help out on Saturday and Sunday.  If you have any
children, relatives, or friends that plan on attending this weekend but are not
racing, please call or email me.  We could really use your help timing, scoring,
at the penalty lap, and just making sure the range stays safe.  Sara Hoovler

We have moved our second citizen's race, Spam Cup #2, to Sunday January 11 after
the biathlon race.  We anticipate an 11am start for the Spam Cup and it will be
a freestyle event.  The race entry fee will be $10 for adults and $5 for kids. 
Anyone wishing to make a donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation through WYSEF
will receive a commemorative long sleeved t-shirt while supplies last. 
Suggested donations start at $5 (this could be the cheapest long sleeved tee
outside of Crazy Dayz and you are supporting a great cause!)  A registration
form is attached.  Race registration and the start/finish line will be held at
the Biathlon cabin next to the range.  Race distances will be 2k, 5k, 10k, &
15k.
