On March 8th and 9th the Washington Biathlon Association will hold its
final race weekend of the season at the Stevens Pass Nordic Center on
U.S. Hwy 2, five miles east of the pass. If you're in the area or are
looking for a tune-up before Nationals, feel free to come by and race.
We will have an Individual (15k mens & 12.k womens) race on Saturday
and a Super Sprint on Sunday. The Super Sprint will be modified,
replacing the DQ with penalty loops if you don't clean. Entry forms are
available at www.wabiathlon .org or at the Nordic Center race morning.
The snow has been great this year and the Nordic Center staff does an
excellent job grooming the range and the array of adjacent trails.
