Joe,
I just took a photo of the strap on my left hand 7-4 and posted it in
the "default" album. Its the only shot in there. The webbing goes from
the hook through the slider (under the first bar, over the second,
under the third), up through the hand stop and retraces itself back
through the slider. The free end should have the first and third bar
of the slider showing. The pressure of the strap under load pinches
the free end so it won't slip. I hope this helps, Kevin
