I have a Core Sport that I like pretty well.... has a pocket at the bottom that
I keep all my magazines, some ammo, my cuff, some tools, etc. in. It also has
the window in it over the bolt area, with a velcroed flap that can be opened
when the rifle is on your back for an official to see that your bolt is open. I
believe this is now a requirement at the big events, so you may want to make
sure that what ever you get has this window in the proper location. Sharon, at
Core Sport knows the exact location that it is supposed to be.
The bags, themselves, do not have shoulder straps, by the way. You put your
rifle in the bag, with the harness still on the rifle, and there is a zipper or
velcro closure that allows the harness to stick through to the outside. Thus,
you put the rifle on your back, just as you would when it is not in the cover.

Subject: Biathlon North America rifle soft case
Looking for a padded soft case that I have seen at competitions that has
shoulder straps
that allows the rifle to be worn on the back while still in the case. I know
Anschutz makes
one, but looking for other options as well. Anybody know of any?
