I have used a 7-4 for the last 4 seasons. The cold weather accuracy
problem is caused by a combination of ammunition, and the cleaning
oil changeing viscosity in the barrel. To eliminate this concern, I
now use Wolf Ultra Match Target. I had mixed results with RWS,
especially in very cold conditions, Lake Placid, Val Cartier for
example. The most important thing to do in very cold conditions is
to run a dry patch through the rifle about 15 minutes prior to the
time you start your event. This removes any buildup that is in your
barrel after the zero. If you have any questions about the 7-4 e-
mail me at Baroquebryan@.... If you do the right things to the
Izmash it is as accurate as any Anschutz that I have had the
oppertunity to fire.
