i am just getting interested in biathlon as well, so i don't have
answers to your questions. however, there are several events coming
up close to you. if you go to www.biathlon.net you can find info on
a summer biathlon on the penninsula. also, if you follow the links
to the Auburn Ski club, they have a winter biathlon coming up in a
couple weeks. i don't have time to even think about participating in
these, but i'm going to try to go to check it out.
