THE BIRTH OF THE BIKE

Explore 100 years of bicycle evolution at the California Bicycle Museum, owned by the University of California, Davis.

Eric Heiden's racer from the 1986 Tour de France and a Draisienne bicycle will be among the items on exhibit.

The collection will be on display 4-6 p.m. Wednesdays and 9 a.m.-noon Saturdays, through Dec. 3, at the building at Third and B streets, in Davis. Admission is free. For more information: (530) 297-1900.
