The weather is looking good for our ride on Saturday June 30! I
wanted to pass on some additional information about the ride
(Bike Friday Customer Evangelist Lynette Chiang will be here!), the
backup plan (in case of rain), and to give you some updated
information about Lynette's schedule in Seattle including her
presentation at the Seattle U-District Apple Store on July 2.

SATURDAY JUNE 30 BIKE RIDE AT 9:30AM
Yes, it's true! Lynette Chiang (http://www.galfromdownunder.com)
will be riding with us on Saturday, on the new 5-second folder, the
tikit. You can see a preview of this very cool bike at

The ride starts at 9:30am (weather permitting). You will want to
arrive a few minutes before 9:30am, don't be late! We'll meet at
the Cascade Bicycle Club's 25 mile mostly flat tour of the scenic
Kent Valley and Green River trails. Here is a link to the ride

above. Call Cascade ride leaders Terri and John Calnan 253-332-1682
or at 253-332-4807 to check if the weather appears questionable. If
the Calnans cancel the ride due to rain showers, we will not ride
either.

To get to the Tukwila Community Center, from I-5, take Exit
#156 (2+ miles south of Boeing Field) and head north on Interurban
Ave for 0.5 miles, then turn right on 42nd Ave (at the light) and
cross bridge over Green River. Turn right into Tukwila Community
Center. From 405 South, take I-5 north at Southcenter, then Exit
#156 and then follow the remainder of the instructions above.

Cascade has a ride waiver form that you must sign.
