Advanced Bike for Life (Road II) Starting October 25th   Message List

An Advanced Bike for Life (Road II) Class will be starting Saturday,
October 25th

The Advanced Bike for Life (Road II) class is the follow on to the
Bike for Life (Road I) class. In Road II you will be able to further
practice your road riding skills. We'll review the basics and
augment your knowledge by further discussion in the class and
practice on the streets.

If you want to learn more about bike maintenance Road II is your
class. You'll learn how to recognize worn drivetrain parts and
maladjusted, worn or dirty bearings, how change brake pads, brake and
shifter cables and other components as well as adjusting shifting and
braking systems.

In addition, we will cover many other assorted aspects of bicycling
that can lead to safer, more efficient and more enjoyable
cycling. Sessions will include both classroom discussion and on-bike practice.

Best of all, right now the City of San Diego and SDCBC are covering
the cost of this normally $60 class, so there is no charge to you!

The class will be held over four Saturdays, October 25th, November
1st, 8th, and 15th. Each class is 3 hours, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm in
the afternoon (this is a time change from earlier
announcements). They are held in the Clairemont area of San Diego
(Just west of I-805 & Clairemont Mesa Blvd.).

Successful completion of the Bike for Life (Road I) class is a
prerequisite for this class.

Attached to this email is the Road II registration form in PDF file
format. If you are interested in attending this course please fill
it out and return it to me as soon as possible (if you have not
already done so) to reserve your place. The mailing address (and the
class meeting place) is:

Kerry Kunsman
4742 Renex Place
San Diego, CA 92117

Class size is limited to no more than 10 people so sign up early.

If you have any questions about the Bike for Life course content, or
are wondering if you could benefit from the course, please feel free
to contact me by email or telephone.

Regards,

P.S. A word to my former students. You may wonder why you are
getting this email if you have already had both classes. I believe
that you, the graduates, are the best spokespersons there are for
these classes. I want you to know when they are being held so you
can tell your friends.

P.P.S. I don't want to be considered a spammer, so if you don't want
to hear any more about cycling courses just email me at
<kerryk@...> and I will take you off my list.
