Don't miss BIKE NIGHT 2006!
A fundraiser for the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition Thursday, June 1st.
6:30 - 8:30 p.m. The location is the San Diego Natural History Museum
rooftop. Tickets $25 per person. Your ticket includes beer provided by Karl
Strauss Brewery, food, and an evening of entertainment.
Our Master of Ceremonies is Whitney Southwick, weatherman for Channel
7/39, and one of our featured speakers will be San Diego City Council
President Scott Peters, who will be receiving the Coalition's 'Golden Gear'
award.
We'll be raffling off some great prizes, including bike tour discounts, tickets
to 'Wired to Win' at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center IMAX theater, and
three different bikes donated by Trek and Black Mountain Bikes.
The funds raised at this event will go to support the work the Coalition does
on behalf of all cyclists in San Diego County, including advocating for more
money for bike lanes, bike paths, better law enforcement, and education
programs for motorists and cyclists. It's going to be an evening of good food
and good fun!
