I thought I would post this to the San Diego Bike Friday list in case
anyone is interested in improving their road bicycling skills.
As some of you may already know I am a League of American Bicyclists (LAB)
certified cycling instructor. I will be holding the LAB developed "Street
Skills" (Road I) cycling course this September. If you, or someone you
know, is interested in learning how to operate a bicycle legally and safely
on the streets (without being constantly "scared to death"), and learn more
about your bicycle this is the course for you. You can even benefit from
this course if you "already know how to ride a bicycle" by learning proper
techniques to avoid dangerous situations before they develop.
The course will be held on three consecutive Saturdays, September 18th &
25th and October 2nd. The classes are 9:00 am - noon and will be held in
the Clairemont area of San Diego (Just west of I-805 & Clairemont Mesa
Blvd.). Class size will be limited to no more than 10 people. The fee for
the nine-hours of instruction is $50.
Attached to this email is a registration form in PDF file format. If you
are interested in taking the class please fill out the registration form
and return it to me along with your $50 check before the first class. The
mailing address (and the class meeting place) is:
Kerry Kunsman
4742 Renex Place
San Diego, CA 92117
If you have any questions about the course content, or are wondering if you
could benefit from the course, please feel free to contact me by email or
telephone. If you would like to know more about LAB, their website is:
