BF Clubbers... I mentioned this already but ...
My little 1-minute video for that "Best Job in the World" run by Queensland Tourism just got posted to the OFFICIAL contest site.
Here it is:
At close of contest today, there were 34,000 entries from 80 countries including the Vatican (like I said, heaven is no match for the Hamilton island).
Just 11 people will be interviewed - including 1 people's choice. That's the one that gets the highest rating.
So please, would you go rate it on the above link before March 2?
Why? This would be huge boost for Bike Friday and folderdom in general, even if I only make it to the shortlisted 50. This is the real reason I did it - it would simply be great and much-needed PR for the small, shoestring and altruistic Eugene company that makes a serious travel bike - and has been my employer since March 2001.
Here's how I made the video (a couple of evenings really hard yakka on my 12" laptop) in my blog:
Thank you ... and comments welcome on the blog. Oh, I listed myself as a New Yorker, which is a real trip since it's a Chinese face with an Aussie voice yammering on the video! Oh yeah, if I get the gig you can come and hang with me on Hamilton.
Thank you from the the heart of my bottom.
