I'm hoping to check out BF owner Jennifer Levine's Fringe Fest Show, 'Miracle on Monroe Street', perhaps Thursday or Sat or Tue.

It was sold out on the opening night. 

I made a big mistake at the beach on Sunday. 

Forgot I was riding a bike with STI shifters and propped it upside down in the sand to make a kind of Robinson Crusoe beach hut and get out of the sun. What was I thinking?  Instantly, I have only two working gears now. David Lam at bfold is trying to salvage the situation, and might have to cnvert it to bar ends anyway. STI is mainly made for racing, is not that durable; bar end shifters are better for touring and moderate abuse. Look after that spendy stuff!
