Hey BF Clubbers in NY,
Lynette here... way over on the unhappening side of the continent (ah,
but where bulk tofu and tempeh abound) - I just got handed a photocopy
of the editorial of the May issue of Bicycling Magazine, where the
writer tried to do a day's toil using exclusively his 'Burley
Runabout' and was met with all kinds of grief from office lobby nazis,
transport tyrants etc etc. We think you should write a letter to the
magazine telling them it serves him right - he should get himself a
folding bike (A Bike Friday is of course one such option). Anyone who
writes and gets one published, will get a very nice pair of Bike
Friday sox from my impersonal stash. FYI the New Jersey club is
stirring from its hibernation...I urged Dave Porter to hook up with
you!
