a new york city bicylcist was hit on a Bike Greenway by a new york city NYPD

tow truck at 11:30pm and the next day another cylcist was hit in the exact spot by a

car in front of a TV News crew doing a report of the night befor

   

   this greeway was put in place by the city as a safe route for cylcist but as i seen

personaly its is not safe if car's and tow trucks alike can cross into it without stoping or slowingdown i have see cars's rideing on the greenway , i have seen car's parking on the greenway with no enforcement , but when we want to ride in larg groups the city wants to lock us up or give us tickets for crossing red lights

 

     send the city of new york a letter telling them that the greenway is for cylcist

not for cars or tow trucks and to enforce the laws and give car's or turck's a ticket when using the greeway as an express lane , and give car's and truck's a ticket if

they park or block the bike path's clearly painted on the street's

 

    hellp us keep the bike path's and greenways car free
