Hi NYers,
First - a minor correction - Hanna now tells me that the NYT Folding
Bike testing will happen sometime over the next 9 days - not
necessarily this SAT, as I read her email. She was just pointing out
that all the test bikes will be at the NYT this Sat.
We are sending a Dura Ace/Ultegra Pocket Rocket Pro which has just been
test ridden by the LATimes. It's sized to fit an average height woman.
Second - you might be interested to know that Stefani is also a cycling
coach, athlete, and is (or was) a pro bike racer:

An amazing woman .... she knows about Bike Friday - says many of her
racing friends have one. NOTE: She is PARTICULARLY interested in the
PERFORMANCE/RACING aspect rather than the commuting/folding aspect, so
I urge the more performance-oriented of you to step forward - those
with Pros and Air Fridays - you'll be talking the same lingo. Most
folding bicycle reviews are all about the commute - this seems like the
first time the BF will be able to compete on the territory where it
really shines.
Thanks again. Wow, whatawoman - makes me wish I was a single guy! :o)
