=v= The organizer realized too late that the race was the same
day as the Puerto Rican Day Parade. The police barricaded
off large parts of the park and squeezed crowds in on all the
roads. The first lap through the lower loop went very slow.

=v= We relocated from Bethesda Fountain to the east Loop Road
at 103rd Street. The idea was to do an upper loop and come back
through the access road at about 103rd. Alas, I didn't hear
this and looped all the way back down to Bethesda Fountain,
again wending my way through the crowds. I came in last.

=v= Bike Friday owner Clay came in first, though!
