I have a Bike Friday Nomad that I would like to sell. This was a stock
bike that BF made a few years ago, and I have barely ridden it. It
comes with a hard case for travel. It is a small frame, Flag Red, 14
speed. I am 5'4" and it fits me very well. I would like to get $550 for
the bike and travel case. Please contact me for pictures/information.

I would LOVE to have a small group of BF's at the Biking for Sight Lions Club ride in Montgomery, Tx this Sunday. Ride starts at 8AM, you can register at the ride for $30. BEAUTIFUL country, through Sam Houston National Forest. Hope to see you there!!
Yes!! We start at the Bike Barn in Clearlake at 7:30am.
Do you think you can make it?

Is there still a ride planned for this Saturday?

I won't be able to to make that date. But all are invited to ride the Houston Cy-Fair Lions Club Biking for Sight ride in Montgomery on Sunday Sept .24 starting at 8AM. I will be working registration on Saturday, and then be at the ride on Sunday. You can register by doing a web search of Houston Cy-Fair Biking for Sight bike ride. Beautiful scenery, routes of 25-100, depending on your preference. Proceeds help buy eyeglasses for needy children in the Houston Cy-Fair School District. Would LOVE to have lots of Little Bikes there!!
Hey all,
We have a scheduled Bike Friday of Houston ride on September 23rd.
What better way to celebrate the end of summer and hot weather than to
kick off fall with a BF ride.
We'll have lunch at the Spitfire Grill afterwards (used to be Sweet
Mesquite) along with the Houston Area Tandem Society which will also
be hosting a ride from the BikeBarn that date as well. Check out the
Bikebarn site to find the address in Clearlake if you need it. We'll
leave at 7:30am sharp. so don't be late.

So come on down and let's have some fun!!!!!
Regards,
Steve

together, including surviving being hit by a pick up truck from
behind on my bike tour in Canada last year. We are so very thrilled
at how well the bike held up. I sent it back to BF in Oregon to be
assessed for bent frame, cracks, etc. All they had to do was
replace my badly egg shapped rear wheel, and straighten the right
shifter that got knocked off center!! (I, on the other hand, did
not fare so well, but I healed!)

Looking forward to meeting other Bike Friday owners.

Sandy,
I sorry I missed you. I was probably trying to watch the road and
not crash out. I also had my friend with me on my Air Friday. So I
guess we were a gang of five. Someone did mention that they had seen
you.

Just a reminder if you can make it. We will start from the southeast
corner of the Katy Mills parking lot at 5000 Katy Mills Circle in
Katy, Texas 77494. Look for me on the Red Family Triple BikeFriday.
Hard to miss us.

Hi Everyone,
We're off to a great start with alot of new members. I'm sending this
message out to the group, hit the group back with the area of town you
live in and the type of BikeFriday you own or are coveting. We'll
cover more about upcoming BF opportunities later. Please post any BF
info, ideas, ride opportunities, etc to the group if you have them.
